Jakob - Joshua Larsson
Joshua Larsson learned from a young age that he wanted to be an actor. He had performed in a few plays including “guys and dolls”, “grease” (three times) and co-wrote a play with his grade eleven drama teacher called “Men and Women through the Ages”. After his high school experience, Josh realized that film is truly where his passion spawned from. At the age of fourteen he was represented by Characters Talent Agency and entered the big scary world of auditioning. Joshua noticed he was coming close to getting some roles, but when it came down to the decision, the other guy was chosen due to Joshua’s lack of experience. Training was needed. In 2007 Joshua was accepted into the 2008 term of “Langara film arts” where he learned the tools and the confidence to win an audition and left the program as “Best male actor”. After the program, Joshua felt more than ready to take on the industry. He built his own acting demo reel and began looking for representation. He found a welcomed spot at “King Talent” where he is now represented by Lisa King. Since Joshua’s time at Langara, he has worked on a number of projects including, commercials, festival short films and a series lead role in “Thwackers”.
Joshua is excited about his first upcoming role on a big budget feature film; the Quentin Tarintino produced “Death Keeps Coming” which is currently in pre- production.
Mikey - Quentin Grace
Quentin Grace began acting because he loved the diversity - the ability to play a wide variety of different characters. Admiring the careers of gifted actors like Ryan Gosling, Natalie Portman and Morgan Freeman it’s no surprise that Quentin seeks out interesting and challenging roles, something he can be passionate about. Aside from starring in several short and student films Quentin is most of proud of his work in the stage production of “Six Degrees of Separation”. Outside of acting Quentin is serious about fitness, sticking to a rigorous training schedule and working toward becoming a personal trainer. Also a writer, Quentin is currently working toward shooting a short to promote his first feature film script. He is represented by CTM International, 604.733.8837.
Cat - Shanae Tomasevich
Shanae Tomasevich was born in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. At a young age Shanae became very interested in fitness and soon found herself competing in figure and fitness competitions. She entered 3 highly recognized contests and was honoured to have placed 1st in each of them. Because of her natural beauty, Shanae then entered, and won, such modeling competitions and various swimsuit competitions as “FVF Model Search” and “Micro Swimwear Search“. She has also been a Micro Swimwear Calender Girl and her beauty has also graced the pages of numerous magazine covers and magazine centerfolds. As well as a model, Shanae has become a skilled actress with numerous credits to her portfolio, including The Nest (2009), Charlie (2009), Sketch Bros. (2008), and Storage Facility (2006), to mention just a few, and has also become well recognized as a model for music videos. Shanae has also been a spokes-model for Dorinha Jeans (modelling/clothing) and Muscle Marketing (health/product line). Shanae, never one to be idle, has recently branched out again to become a jewellery designer with her own jewellery line and her own jewellery company. She is also proud to have recently added her own personally designed clothing to her company. Britney - Jodi Ward
Whether it was putting on shows for the neighborhood or filling hours of tape on her parent’s camera, Jodi is a natural born performer. And once she found out there was an actual job for that, her path was set. A student of acting since high school, she furthered her craft at the Lyric School of Acting and Second Ave Studios with Andrew McIlroy. But not one to stay indoors, Jodi enjoys a wide variety of sports and was bitten by the travel bug after spending a year in England. Thwackers” is Jodi’s film debut.
